At Brussels By Night, we believe nightlife must be a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported. Through our commitment to harm reduction and the fight against sexual and gender-based violence, we offer Care Team services for clubs, venues, festivals, and cultural operators — in partnership with Nocta, a Brussels-based nonprofit whose inclusive, field-rooted programs are designed to evolve with and belong to the spaces and communities they serve.
Services
Initial assessment of your event, audience and existing protocols, to define how the Care Team fits within your broader harm reduction framework.
Coordination and deployment of our trained volunteers: team size, positioning, schedules, roles, communication channels and integration with your internal teams and procedures.
On-site care, prevention and support: providing a visible and approachable presence, supporting attendees in vulnerable situations, contributing to the prevention of sexist and sexual violence, discrimination and inappropriate behaviour, while promoting consent and safer environments.
Referral and collaboration with the appropriate actors when needed (medical teams, security, organisers or external support services).
Training and support for organisations wishing to develop their own internal Care Team and strengthen their prevention and care practices.
Administrative follow-up including volunteer reimbursements, insurance coordination, post-event reports, debriefing and recommendations for future improvements.
